Lewis Hamilton is perhaps the biggest name in Formula 1. The British driver is arguably the greatest of all time, as he’s tied on most World Championships and has the outright record for most race wins, pole positions and podiums. From a young lad karting in the UK with his dad as his mechanic, Hamilton has reached some dizzying heights.  

Starting his F1 career in the McLaren, Hamilton has never been able to escape the spotlight. Winning a World Championship in his second season with the Woking team, Hamilton shocked the F1 world as he made a switch to the Brackley based Mercedes-AMG, a move that worked out very well. Michael Schumacher lasted two seasons’ in F1 after his winning streak ended. Hamilton hasn’t managed to win a world title since 2020 – but no one can say he isn’t as motivated as ever to get back to winning ways.  

The 2023 season saw something incredible from Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bull was unstoppable all season long, winning 21/22 Grand Prix’s, and yet Hamilton came so close to clinching 2nd place in the driver’s championship from Sergio Perez. Something that seemed completely impossible to get anywhere near. When there’s a will, there’s a way. Hamilton is relentless in his pursuit for greatness.
